GENERAL
PLAN OF THE FELLOWSHIP MEETINGS
The meetings
are based on prayer, discussion of the Bible, prayerful reflection
of the Bible and socialising over a shared table. Each aspect is
important as we are mind, body and spirit.

PRAYER

|
PRAYER is
a part of every meeting. We always open the meetings with a prayer
asking God to be with us and help us.
After
discussing the reading, we quietly reflect on it. We then have the
opportunity to pray for any issues arising from the reading or discussions
or for the needs of the group or the community. Everyone has the
opportunity to share a prayer with the group, but nobody is obliged
to if they do not feel comfortable.
We say
Grace for the shared table.

BIBLE

|
BIBLE
We read a passage
of the Bible and discuss its meaning for us in our lives. This is
usually a lively discussion. We then re-read the passage and quietly
reflect upon it before having the opportunity to pray about issues
which the Bible has brought to our attention.

FOOD
|
SHARED TABLE
If each person contributes a SMALL amount of food, this would be
great and would avoid unnecessary waste. This does not have to be
a major banquet, but some sharing of food, with conversation. |
