UPDATE ON OPERATION CHRISTMAS CARD

Please encourage parishioners to take the cards next Sunday and deliver them. PW previously offered to deliver any remaining cards. JH will review it next Sunday.

EDUCATION (MES)

The group has met to discuss the situation. RCIA is taking place this year. What was being considered for next year? GT said they should look further than the parish and share with the deanery and diocese on Education courses.

MES asked about the Evangelium course which GT has used in the past (25 units costing £25).

21st February is a Day for Catechists (RCIA, Baptism, Communion, Confirmation) to be held in the Cathedral.

GT suggested MES and the education Group should contact their counterparts in other parishes so that they could join together.

AOB

GT is looking for a volunteer to organise the Corpus Christi Procession.

Food parcels will be delivered for the needy on 19th December. Let the priests know if anyone qualifies.

GT thanked the PPC members for their work within the Parish, for their time and effort.

GT led the Closing Prayer.

Next meeting 14th January 2009 in the Social Centre.
