1. Large print hymn books

MES reported that the trial copy is now available on the hymn book stand in church.

2. Education Actions

MES will give consideration to providing something for our younger parishioners.

The R.C.I.A. programme is going well, with a number of interested parishioners.

3. Youth Worker

GT updated the group – no appointment made as yet. The group are still searching for suitable candidates and it is likely that any appointment will be a part time one working for West Bridgford and Cotgrave only.

The value of distributing Parish Christmas Cards to all houses in the area was re-evaluated and it was decided that it was a valuable and worthwhile exercise for a number of reasons. MR will order the cards and will appreciate help in packing them up into envelopes and boxes at the start of the November PPC meeting. Extra pairs of hands at that time will be much appreciated. Parishioners will be asked to pick up packets of cards for distribution at weekend Masses on 6 & 7 December and 13 & 14 December.

JH will place a note in the parish newsletter urging parishioners to offer their services as parish reps on the PPC. Action JH

A query has been received from a parishioner about the provision of disabled toilet facilities on site. We have a specially adapted accessible toilet facility adjacent to the sacristy.
