1. MINUTES OF August 2007 MEETING

2. MATTERS ARISING FROM THE FEBRUARY 2007 MINUTES
Parish library- The library shelves are due to be fitted into the recess area of the bar at the end of September Action CH
Tradecraft – Unfortunately Mary Crosby was unable to attend the meeting but sent a report to say that she had placed an order for tradecraft products for the parish shop and had catalogues available; she will give further feedback next month. MD has offered to help with the tradecraft if this is needed; she also offered to send a get well card to Mary.

PPP report to the parish AGM
VL was unable to attend tonight’s meeting but reported that she is happy to produce and/or present a short report on the PPP at the AGM. To discuss with GT
Youth Worker Progress
The team are meeting for the first time after the summer break on 19th September and will report back at the next meeting.
3. Review of Parish Pastoral Plan - Liturgy and worship (CH)
4. Parish AGM
CH and PM are both unable to attend the parish AGM. CH will ask Maura to produce the same format as last year for advertising the event.
All representatives of the parish group are encouraged to ask their members to set up a stand at the AGM to inform the parish about the work that they do.
It was thought that a display using digital photographs of parish events would be effective. An item will be placed in the newsletter asking for photographs to be e-mailed to CC. Who has kindly agreed to organise this.
Refreshments – MD to ask Sylvia O’Shea’s SOS team to provide the catering and use tradecraft products. Action MD
5. Election of PPC chair and vice chair.
Chair for 2yrs is - Jim Harrington - Nominated by PM and Seconded by PW
Vice Chair for 1yr is – Liz Bonner - Nominated by CH and Seconded by CC
The members who are stepping down at this year's AGM are:
Chris Hoban (Chair) and rep for the social committee, to be replaced by Anne Turner-Harrod
Peter Molyneux (Vice Chair) - to be replaced as SVP rep by Marina Johnson
Maria Dabrowska
Anne Murray
Anne Turton - to be replaced as UCM rep by Joyce Madden
There are a number of vacancies to be filled and there are also no representatives from the newer parish groups such as the fellowship group and sports club. A suggestion was made to have a review of the membership at the next PPC meeting.

VL - sent an e-mail to report that she had not heard anything from the South Nott’s media tutor re-CD of parish events, she will pursue this now that the new term has started.
MC – sent a report to say that the reserved notices for the seats vacated for the children’s liturgy group have been a great success.
Harvest festival on 7th October, a piece is to be put in the news letter asking for a team of people to organise it.
Family fast day on 5th October Cafod team to give out envelopes at all masses the weekend of the 29th /30th October.
