MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES OF MARCH 2006 MEETING
- Youth worker – both Head teachers have been consulted by GT about the youth workers doing consultation sessions at The Becket and St Edmund Campion. BT reported that James Cooper organized two sessions at The Becket School, no one attended the first, but 20 pupils attended the second session. Tom Baptist or James Cooper will be visiting St Edmund Campion on 22nd June to speak to years 5+6. Feedback will be given to the PPC.
- Justice + Peace will be lead by Phil Bonner and the format for this will be discussed at the parish weekend at Critch.
- The Bishops visitation will be on the 5th November ‘06. This will need to be planned as suggested at the last PPC meeting.
- The Parish AGM is at 7pm on the 1st October ‘06 (PM) to coordinate.
- Theresa Brennan has agreed to be the parish coordinator for "Care not killing" against assisted suicides.
- PPP – Positive feedback has been received from the parish. Excess copies will be sent to St Edmund Campion School for distribution, the SVP and Eucharistic ministers will also distribute them to housebound parishioners.
- H+S issues to be brought to the next meeting.
- Feedback from the CC procession – Well done to (VA) for all her hard work in organizing the event. Next year it will be lead by the Blessed Sacrament. This will be discussed in detail at a later date.
