PARISH PASTORAL PLAN (P.P.P.)
The group discussed aspects of producing a P.P.P. and recognized the difficulty of the task. Should it be spirituality or practicality based ? Should ideas for its production come from the whole parish or should a small group come up with some skeleton ideas ? What do we anticipate happening as a result of the plan ? How do we ensure that it remains a "living" document ? What is a parish for ?
It was decided that the core group will put forward ideas about how to develop the P.P.P. at its meeting in 2 weeks time and present their ideas at the next P.P.C. meeting. Action Core Group
MD asked all PPC members to give consideration to what they think should be included in the plan. She also pointed out that the diocese has recently appointed someone to implement the Diocesan Pastoral Plan so some guidance may be given from this source in due time.

WEEKEND MASSES ORGANISATION
IM requested that PPC members are proactive in helping parishioners move round efficiently at Communion time, eg. pin back appropriate doors or direct people down particular routes to avoid queues criss crossing each other.
JimH raised a concern about a perceived lack of reverence for the Blessed Sacrament as it is being moved and suggests an acolyte precedes the ciborium to make sure no-one gets in the way. Action JimH
CC raised a concern about some people at Holy Communion not consuming the host before walking away. MJ pointed out the importance of Eucharistic Ministers intervening if this seems to be happening. JE suggested the issue is brought up at a Eucharistic Ministers meeting.
